Juniors Update

23 Jul

We're heading into the last segment of our junior winter season with lots happening on the community.
We'd like to say thank you to everyone who assisted with Project Sherwin Park. We hope that you will reap the benefits of these small changes with more to come.
We also appreciate the feedback on our latest junior survey and will take the suggestions on board. We would also like to address two topics that have come up:

  1. fixtures; we belong to a football body under the auspices of WaiBOP, draws are determined by WaiBOP, it's not an in house task.
  2. parking; the grounds at Sherwin Park belong to Waipa Council, we have had many discussions and suggestions regarding the parking area between the trees and the fence which has been cordoned off for the rest of the season. Please use the offsite parking along Swarbrick Drive and the Intermediate. We have not made ground with council in this regard and will continue our discussions with them in the hope for a positive outcome.
