Welcome to Te Awamutu AFC

We're a club with a long running history since 1913 and a bright future in front of us. The oldest club with the freshest ideas, our most recent call out to our people is "Up The Roses" #UTR, a call to our locality as the Rose Town of Aotearoa. As we moved into 2024 we have six senior teams, southern league and U23, we have two women's teams, Over 35's and Division 2. We have all the contacts for the relevant coaches on our info page. We have had a number of other programs running due to a need and want from the community. We have Fantails, Expleo First Kicks and Kickn'it as well as Indoor at the College. We continue to work on being able to provide football to the community as we work on what the summer 2024 may look like.

We are committed to supporting those who support us. Which is why we are working hard on forming bonds with our local businesses and being a positive light and force for good in the beautiful Rose Town.

He Waka Eke Noa – were all in this together, our aim is to provide the community with professional coaching, equipment and facilities for all of our football players as well as offer our members options to play competitively in a fun and social environment.

Based at three locations around Te Awamutu our home is at The Stadium on Armstrong Ave, where our club rooms are based with a second field at Anchor Park on Alexandra Street and our Juniors are based at Sherwin Park on Swarbrick Drive. We offer a full range of Football programmes from the youngest players, aged 4, right up to Senior Competitive grades, our over 35's are Waikato Plate Champions of 2023.

You can enjoy great football and a great supportive and social club experience from Te Awamutu from age 4 to age 65(and beyond.)
